Up and Walk, then GVI Foundation and RCI, Inc, partnered with Operation Care International to host OneDay in Santiago, Chile.  OneDay – the first-ever global event of its kind, uniting communities across more than 200 countries and all 50 states of the United States.  On December 19th, compassionate volunteers around the globe worked together to bring hope and joy during the Christmas season by outfitting children in need with new shoes at each OneDay event in local communities worldwide.

In Santiago, Up and Walk held several local events across the city of Santiago inviting children and their families for a time of fellowship, foot-washing and shoe-fitting.    Hundreds of children left with clean feet, new shoes, and a sense of hope and dignity.
